The delightful Victorian silver wine taster of deep circular form,

elaborately embossed,

centering a smiling Bacchus mask

surrounded by a matted ground and scrolling foliage encircling flowerheads;

the pin dot rim scalloping minute intentional piercing

(mysteriously they do not leak when being used - we have tested it),

visible in the images below
